Are you confident your customers’ Microsoft 365 environments are truly protected—or are you overlooking one of the biggest vulnerabilities?
Josh Richards, Territory Account Manager – ANZ
Backing up data is critical, but in today’s threat landscape it’s simply not enough. In this session, we’ll dive into why Entra ID is a cornerstone of Microsoft 365 security—and how failing to protect it exposes businesses to major operational and financial risk.
We’ll break down Microsoft’s Shared Responsibility Model in practical, easy‑to‑apply terms, and explore a real-world case of a New Zealand organisation whose Microsoft tenant was compromised. You’ll see how the attack unfolded, what could—and couldn’t—be recovered, and the downstream costs and disruption that followed.
We’ll also look beyond cyberattacks to another growing risk: service outages and cloud unavailability. Events like the recent Cloudflare DNS outage highlight why relying on a single vendor for both production and backup can leave you vulnerable. Should you really store your backups with the same provider you're trying to protect yourself from?
While we’ll introduce Arcserve’s built‑in capabilities designed to address these gaps, this session is first and foremost about empowering you. You’ll also get to experience a live demo showcasing exactly how these risks play out and how the right protection strategy can mitigate them. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the threats, the right questions to ask, and the insights needed to assess whether your customers can truly tolerate downtime—or if it’s time to rethink what “protection” really means.

Bevin Warren & Stefan Haapanen. DP Computing
Bevin and Stefan will lead a discussion into the upcoming expiry of Secure Boot certificates, a looming deadline that could leave both your internal and your clients’ hardware in limbo.
This session breaks down the "why" behind the expiry and provides a technical roadmap for auditing Windows devices and leveraging Windows Update for a seamless fix.
If times permit they will also talk about recovery from "Invalid Signature" bootup errors and a quick-fire look at the Ubiquiti SFP Wizard.

In this session, we’ll explore the current MSP landscape and the challenges shaping the market as we head into 2026. MSPs are under pressure from rising customer expectations, tighter margins, skills shortages, and an increasingly complex threat environment. Yet demand for managed security and scalable IT services continues to grow, creating strong opportunities for MSPs who can evolve their offerings.
We’ll challenge a common perception: Is WatchGuard still just a firewall company? WatchGuard has evolved into a unified cybersecurity platform designed for MSPs, covering network security, secure Wi-Fi, endpoint protection, MDR, MFA, and centralised visibility — all managed through a single platform.
From a business perspective, we’ll discuss how MSPs can leverage WatchGuard’s unique strengths — simplicity, integration, predictable pricing, and ease of management — to improve profitability and build recurring revenue. From a technical lens, we’ll highlight how this reduces operational complexity while delivering stronger security outcomes.
The session will share practical ways to grow your business with WatchGuard in 2026 and beyond.
