Colin Chinner MBA, GMQ, ANZIIF (Fellow), CIP, MRMIA MSM Loss Management
Colin will be speaking on insurance cover that MSPs may be missing or misinterpreting. Colin is an industry consultant who acts on behalf of customers not insurance companies. "Cyber liability insurance” coverage is a financial product that enables businesses to transfer the costs involved with recovery from a cyber-related security breach or similar events. If your customer has a Cybersecurity insurance policy, can a data breach or security breach cost be transferred to you (recovered from you) or your business as the supplier? Be an educated business owner in what cover you may need as an MSP if an insurance company is likely to come after you for costs or compensation.
