Getting started with Azure Infrastructure - Adelaide

Microsoft MVP, Robert Crane, will be providing training on Microsoft Azure Infrastructure in September.

This session is aimed at getting you up to speed with using infrastructure in Azure. The sessions will introduce you to the various infrastructure elements in Azure such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Network, VPNs and more. You'll get hands on with configuring and connecting all these elements from the console and using PowerShell. You'll also see how to connect these back to on premises environments to extend existing environments and provide greater flexibility. You'll also get hands on with Azure Domain Services and Azure File sync as well as other Azure services.

To get the most from this session you should meet the follow pre-requisites:

• Have an active Azure tenant in which you can configure resources
  
• Bring an Internet connected laptop to work on
  
• Have a basic familiarity of PowerShell
