Security Stack - Part 1
Patrick Kissane, Burger IT
As our clients have migrated to the cloud MSPs have naturally focused on the security and protections of data 'up there'. The prevalence of Microsoft 365 in our market and the excellent tools it provides to secure our clients' data online has created a blind spot for what has been left behind - network infrastructure that is often overlooked when it comes to patching and best practice configuration. This open forum discussion will be around how MSPs can utilise the simple tools available to perform simple vulnerability scans of a client's network in order to identify risks and potential threats. The findings in these basic scans can be a stepping stone to engaging a 'real' security consultant to perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests - and provide justification for network upgrades and ongoing security MRR for your business.
