Datacentre Limited (DCL) is a new datacentre in based in Balcatta WA. The racks are housed in 40ft Modular Data Centres (MODs) of 18 racks each. With more than 500 racks so far, they have plenty of room to offer co-location and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) services. Their environmental monitoring solution gives you visibility of the performance of your rack, access to your rack and consumption of power across your equipment down to the individual RU. DCL offers an analytics interface for you or you can feed off the raw data stream and display that as information back in your office using the analytics system of your choice.

DCL’s Iaas services are priced on a per-GB used basis. DCL IaaS is a bare-metal service where you or your service provider adds everything from the Hypervisor up. DCL IaaS uses standard off-the-shelf components from vendors such as Intel and maintains local spares for immediate replacement on failure. Unlike traditional servers, DCL centralises power and uses the MOD for cooling. Their architects and technicians can work with your team to help configure the platform and the tools you need from the hypervisor and operating system up to your cloud management applications of choice.

DCL has incoming data connections from Perth’s major fibre providers such as Telstra, Nextgen, Optus and Amcom and they also offer reseller and referral partner programs.
