Cool Tools

David Libby, Consider IT

As part of SMBiT Professionals Perth’s member presentation series, members will be presenting on “Cool Tools” that they use in their organisation. This month David from Consider IT will be presenting AutoElevate.

AutoElevate is a tool for managing user privileges and gets around the limitations of users either being a local admin on their workstations or a standard user, thus all or no privileges. With AutoElevate the MSP can allow administrative actions to be performed by an end user either once-off, always on a specific device, for all devices in an organisation or across all devices managed by the MSPs. This gives the MSP the ability to prevent unauthorised administrative tasks from being performed by end users or unauthorised applications, yet not having to remote in to client devices to perform repetitive tasks as an administrator.

SMBIT Perth is looking for members to present on “Cool Tools” that they use in their organisation. Please contact David Libby on 0422204420 if you would like to present at one of our upcoming meetings.
