Ransomware has become the biggest risk to businesses, with an attack estimated to occur every 11 seconds in 2021. IT Security vendors alone cannot guarantee the protection of your customers’ data. The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) published “The Essential Eight”, a series of baseline mitigation strategies taken from the ACSC’s Strategies to Mitigate Cyber Security Incidents recommended for organisations. Implementing these strategies as a minimum makes it much harder for adversaries to compromise systems. The presentation will cover:
