The Essential 8 in a Microsoft 365 world

The Essential 8 is fast becoming the standard by which cybersecurity is measured, but how does it apply to Microsoft 365? You might be surprised that technically it really doesn’t and there are far better standards by which you should use to secure your Microsoft 365 environment. However, that doesn’t prevent it from being the benchmark that many external parties, like insurance companies, will judge how well you secure a customers environment. This session will look at the realities of the Essential 8 and how it can be effectively applied to Microsoft 365 to help answer those growing security concerns. Come along and learn the resources and process you’ll need adopt to be secure in a modern Microsoft cloud world.
