Sydney - October SMBiT Professionals Meeting

                                                             

Radek and Lachlan will demonstrate how VMvault are assisting channel partners leverage private cloud solutions, offsite backup and DR, and the NBN for their end users. This will be a majority technical session where they will demonstrate how a company can remove all server infrastructure from their onsite offices and run in a full private cloud requiring only routers and switches onsite. High speed Fibre and Copper Ethernet internet solutions will also be discussed, and the key differences between technologies like MBE, EFM, Fibre and the NBN.

They will also show how SMB IT Pro Members can create a Windows Server 2012R2 Essentials + RDS 2012R2 private cloud, with an MPLS private network, coupled along with VMvault’s hosted exchange offering in a post SBS2011 era.

VMvault are also offering free tours of one of their Sydney Data Centres, NextDC S1 from 5pm to 6pm on the day of the meeting at Macquarie Park. This is the Sydney site of Microsoft’s upcoming Australian Windows Azure Region.
